Job summary

Fears Watch Company Limited is seeking a committed Watch Assembly Technician for the Operations Department at the Bristol head office. You will assemble luxury watches, assist with workshop maintenance, build-kit preparation, component stock management, and overall quality control.

The ideal candidate will have assembly experience, detail orientation, and dexterity, with a strong interest in horology. Role reports to the Operations Manager and commences in late August with flexible start.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assembly Watchmaker or Repair Technician working on luxury watches is essential.
• WOSTEP / BHI diploma or certification is desirable but not essential.
• Essential: Interest in watches and how they work.
• Excellent communication skills and highly organised work style.

Responsibilities

• Timely and efficient assembly of watches in line with quality standards.
• Compile build kits of components and record stock transfers accurately.
• Ensure smooth and time‑efficient assembly according to schedule.
• Maintain a clean, tidy workshop and properly maintain tools/equipment.
• Carry out QC on components and final watches; minimise QC failure rate below 1%.
• Test components, movements, and case water resistance; perform final regulation.
