Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Post 16 College, Chelmsford
Location: Chelmsford
Start Date: ASAP
Daily Rate: £90 £130 (depending on experience)

We are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a dynamic and supportive Post-16 college setting in Chelmsford. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to students aged with a range of additional needs (including SEN, ASD, and SEMH).
  • Assist in lessons, promote engagement, and encourage independence.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure all students have access to the curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience working with young people in an educational or care setting.
  • Patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting learners.
  • A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).

This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and starts immediately.
