About Newton Prep

Newton Prep is a successful and dynamic school for children aged 3 to 13, located in Nine Elms near Battersea Park and the Northern Line. We set high academic, pastoral and activity standards to provide a balanced education.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (ideally with an NVQ Level 3 or above in Early Years) to support pupils’ social and academic participation, independence, and achievement. The post will begin in a Nursery class with possible deployment across other year groups.

Responsibilities
  • Encourage pupils to participate in the social and academic life of the School.
  • Assist pupils to become independent learners.
  • Assist across other year groups as required.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Early Years, or equivalent teaching qualification.
Working Hours

Full‑time, term‑time only, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., starting January 2026.
