Job summary

FedEx Express UK Transportation Limited in Linwood is seeking an Operations Support Agent to work in a fast paced environment and meet tight timelines. The role involves handling customer calls about collection requests and delivery queries, sorting and allocating deliveries, and inputting data into our tracking system.

Working hours are 35 per week, with a shift pattern Mon-Fri 13:30-21:00. A comprehensive training and benefits package are provided, and there are opportunities for progression

Responsibilities

• Answering incoming calls from customers in relation to collection requests, along with delivery queries.
• Sorting and allocating premium and distance deliveries.
• Checking and investigating (when needed) failed deliveries/collections.
• Prioritising and re-allocating failures for the next day delivery as required.
• Inputting data into our tracking system.
• Maintaining clear and effective communications/collaboration with the team/managers and other depots.
• Following FedEx processes, procedures and controls. As well as external regulatory requirements.
