Job description

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for stock transfers between the external warehouses, stock movements in system reflecting reality, stock checks, counts, verifications; assisting in stock reconciliation, receiving & organizing shipments & transfers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively supports buyers in stock booking in, transfers and shipping out.
  • Coordinates with relevant internal functions any stock movement/count related topic.
  • Process the NC in the appropriate tool and maintain smartsheets.
  • Coordinate all NCP/NCR and ensure that material is returned to the Supplier in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Procurement Lead in expediting the return of repaired components.
  • Administrate the legacy stock and keep the up-to-date records of it.
  • Checks progress of the open matters and proactively chase the next actions.
  • Responsible for completing the Import Process on-line for all Imports where GE is responsible for customs clearance.
Performance Measurement
  • Accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
  • Adherence to the global processes and IT Tools for expediting.
  • Works as per GE's the spirit & the letter Integration.
Qualifications
  • Proven work experience in Logistic/semi-Logistic/Warehouse admin role (Direct materials)
  • Understanding of Logistics preferably in imports
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software (SAP)
  • Dynamic and flexible approach of thinking
  • An accomplished relationship-builder
