Logistics Contract Manager

Salary: £50,000k - £55,000k

Type: Full time permanent

Location: Warrington / Manchester - M62 - M6

Sector: UK Road - FMCG - multi depots / sites

This is an excellent opportunity to join a global organisation in a Logistics Contract Manager appointment. You will have responsibility for several large client contracts ensuring all KPI's are achieved, be the main point of contact for your customers, planners and assets providing support to UK road, Sea & Rail freight throughout the UK / European region.

Responsibilities
  • Plan resources and assets across the UK and manage, oversee plan resources and assets.
  • Meet customer demand based on set daily performance requirements.
  • Review transport data / analytics and drive optimisation using Power BI.
  • Act as main point of contact on a national level to develop and exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, legal, and policy standards through fleet audits, operational safety measures, and health and safety performance.
  • Provide operational solutions that exceed customer expectations, including managing fleets and drivers at all locations, handling deliveries, optimising routes between depots, and managing returns throughout the UK, while offering additional services to meet budget goals.
  • Implement financial controls to meet customer budgets and the company’s broader business goals, and to earn bonus contributions for meeting performance and goals.
  • Assist in developing budget goals and initiatives to seize opportunities through collaborative efforts.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership by coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
  • Deliver a high standard of Customer Service against agreed targets.
