Logistics Compliance Specialist - EMEA

Leeds / Hybrid - 3 days per week from our Leeds office

The Logistics Compliance Specialist – EMEA will be responsible for supporting all aspects of delivery compliance and customer penalties management across the EMEA region. This role will report directly to the Manager, Vendor Compliance based in North America and play a pivotal role in establishing and supporting service excellence and order specification compliance in the EMEA region.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of the setup and launch of a new department in EMEA. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a deep understanding of compliance processes, and a hands‑on approach to building and optimizing operational workflows. This position will focus on ensuring compliance with all established retailer and customer requirements, handling compliance‑related penalties, managing EMEA‑specific retailer compliance guides and supplier manuals, and supporting both the initial setup and ongoing improvement of the department.

Logistics Compliance Support (EMEA Focus)
  • Monitor and report our compliance with established retailer and customer guidelines and requirements across EMEA
  • Support and perform compliance audits and assessments for EMEA customer accounts at both our 3PL distribution centres and directly with retail partners
  • Communicate non‑compliance issues promptly, track corrective actions, and partner with distribution centers and internal stakeholders for resolution
  • Identify and deliver efficiency initiatives
  • Lead onboarding of new customers ensuring right first time delivery specifications
Penalties Management & Retailer Guides
  • Investigate and resolve compliance‑related penalties and deductions across EMEA
  • Maintain, update, and distribute EMEA‑specific retailer compliance guides and documentation
  • Support internal teams in gathering documentation to dispute EMEA compliance penalties or deductions
Process Support & Department Setup
  • Assist in establishing documentation standards, internal records, and workflows as part of the new department setup
  • Assist in preparing training materials, guidance documents, and onboarding resources for distribution centers and the Vendor Compliance team
  • Support cross‑functional teams in EMEA and North America to implement process improvements and compliance best practices
Issue Resolution & Reporting
  • Investigate and resolve compliance‑related disputes or discrepancies quickly and efficiently
  • Generate and update reports on EMEA compliance and penalties performance using Excel and internal tracking tools
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to address root causes and implement preventive measures
Some of what we’re looking for:
  • 1–2 years’ experience in logistics compliance, supply chain, retail operations, or a related field (ideally within EMEA)
  • Experience with retailer compliance requirements, penalties and deductions resolution, and account management
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic–intermediate).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident negotiating and resolving issues.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work autonomously across time zones and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work to deadlines.
  • Familiarity with retailer compliance requirements, chargebacks, and account management.
  • Collaborative, team‑focused mindset with a drive for results.
  • Comfortable working independently in a newly established function.
