Job summary

A healthcare recruitment agency is seeking a Locum Prescribing Paramedic for an acute care hub in Yeovil. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in primary care and the ability to work autonomously, with clinical support available. Offering £45-£50 per hour, candidates should be HCPC registered and willing to work flexibly, including possible home visits. Qualifications

  • Qualified for the role and registered with the HCPC.

  • Support with acute care presentations over the Winter period.
  • Work ideally full-time for 5 days per week, from 9am to 6pm.
  • Provide home visits when required.
  • Use EMIS for patient records.

Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Locum Prescribing Paramedic to support within an acute care hub at a well-established practice in the Yeovil area. The practice is ideally looking for a clinician who can start asap to support with acute care presentations over the Winter period.

You will have experience as a Paramedic working within a Primary care setting and will be confident in working autonomously, prescribing and clinical decision making. Full support from a Duty GP for any clinical queries and escalations will be available.

£45-£50 per hour

Your role
  • Ideally FT 5 days per week – but can consider partial cover
  • 9am – 6pm
  • Home visits could be required
  • Duty GP on hand to support with clinical queries or escalations
  • Primary Care experience - Essential
  • You must be qualified for this role and be registered with the HCPC
