Locum Litigation Solicitor

3 - 6 months+

Full Time / Part Time

£50 - £55 per hour

Sellick Partnership are proud to be recruiting for a Locum Litigation Solicitor to join a well-respected and friendly local authority in the North West.

The ideal Litigation Solicitor will cover both criminal and civil litigation and they would need to attend local Courts in person in various locations in the North West. Responsibilities may be including but not limited to:

  • Criminal and Civil Litigation including advocacy
  • Licensing law and public protection
  • Employment law
  • Enforcement of regulatory matters, including prosecutions (Environmental Health, Food Safety, Health and Safety and Work, Licensing, Planning and Trading Standards)
  • Anti-social behaviour and community safety
  • Local Authority Housing
  • National Non-Domestic Rates litigation
  • Inquests
  • Debt recovery
  • Commercial disputes
  • GDPR, Data Protection and Freedom of Information
  • Local Government law and procedures

Although full time availability is desirable, candidates offering part time availability will be considered.
