Temporary Family Court Adviser (FCA)

My Client is looking for an experienced Family Court Adviser to step into a fast‑paced, high‑impact role supporting children at the heart of Family Court proceedings.

This is not a routine social work role. You will be working at an advanced level — analysing risk, influencing decisions, and advising courts on serious child protection and welfare concerns. Your work will directly shape outcomes for children and young people at critical points in their lives.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver clear, authoritative safeguarding advice and analysis to the Family Courts.
  • Assess complex child protection and serious welfare concerns with confidence and precision.
  • Undertake purposeful direct work with children and families, ensuring the child's voice is front and centre.
  • Challenge and influence parents, professionals, and agencies to remain child‑focused.
  • Produce high‑quality, evidence‑based reports that stand up to scrutiny.
  • Keep the child's timescale at the forefront of every recommendation.
  • Advocate relentlessly for children's safety, well‑being, and best interests.
