Job Description

Our client is a main car dealership seeking to recruit 2 x Local Business Development Managers / Fleet Sales to join their busy and thriving site.

Locations include Essex and Kent – Chelmsford, Bishop’s Stortford, Brentwood, Dartford, Sevenoaks.

Reporting directly to the General Sales Manager of the Corporate department, you will be responsible for generating business relationships and opportunities within the small/medium sector. The role will primarily be field-based in the Slough/Bucks area.

Main Purpose of the Position:

  • Develop business by maximizing sales and profit opportunities for the dealerships with new corporate and business prospects.
  • Ensure the Corporate Department provides high-quality customer service to existing customers.
  • Contribute to the overall profitability of the department to meet set objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures related to quality and customer care within the dealership and brand.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Business Development role.
  • Successful career progression and achievements in previous positions.
  • Friendly with excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to follow a structured sales process and build rapport with customers.
