Job summary

A leading banking institution in Greater London is seeking a Structured Funds Solutions (SFS) Loan Servicing professional. The role involves servicing complex fund finance facilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with operational controls. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of Fund Finance products and Loan IQ experience. Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Fund Finance products including NAV, Capital Call, and GP/LP structures.
• Prior experience in Loan Operations, ideally within a Fund Finance environment.
• Understanding of LMA documentation and ability to interpret key operational clauses.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Loan IQ experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Validate and coordinate all funding requests in line with documentation and controls.
• Review LMA loan documentation for operational compliance.
• Manage client queries, ensuring high service standards.
• Support ongoing portfolio monitoring and lifecycle event management.
• Collaborate on new deal onboarding and amendments.
• Contribute to process efficiency and risk management initiatives.

Structured Funds Solutions (SFS) Loan Servicing

Structured Funds Solutions (SFS) Loan Servicing team sits within the wider HSBC Innovation Banking Lending Operations department, providing operational support to the fund finance business.

The role focuses on the servicing of complex fund finance facilities, including Net Asset Value (NAV) facilities, Capital Call lines, and GP/LP structures, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a strong control framework in all client and internal interactions.

The Team You Will Work With

This position offers exposure to high-profile fund clients and collaboration with front office.

The Value You Will Add

• Validate and coordinate all funding and flex requests in line with facility documentation and internal controls.
• Review and interpret LMA loan documentation to ensure operational compliance.
• Manage and resolve client queries, ensuring a high standard of communication and service delivery.
• Support the wider SFS and Loan Operations teams, with ongoing portfolio monitoring, reconciliations and lifecycle event management.
• Collaborate with TMG and Loan servicing to support new deal onboarding, amendments, and restructures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, risk management, and client experience.
