Duties
  • Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
  • Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments, implementing behaviour management techniques.
  • Support with medication administration following prescribed schedules and protocols.
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to encourage mental stimulation and social interaction.
  • Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment for clients.
Requirements

  • Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills and patience when dealing with clients of all ages.
