Overview

Service Care Legal are working with a North London Council seeking an experienced General Litigation Lawyer to join its legal team on an interim basis. This is a varied role with a primary focus on home ownership matters, particularly leasehold service charge recovery in the First-tier Tribunal (FTT).

Details

Location: North London (1 day per week in office)

Contract: 3-month ongoing interim contract, 36 hours per week

Rate: £45 - £55ph LTD / £48.46ph PAYE inc. holiday pay / £43.24ph exc. holiday pay

Please note this role would require 1 day in the office per week.

  • Home Ownership matters
  • Leasehold Service Charge Recovery in the FTT
  • Equality Act claims
  • General debt recovery matters
  • Other general litigation as required
Requirements
  • Qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX - foreign qualified lawyers will be considered)
  • Strong background in general litigation
  • Experience managing a busy caseload with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of housing and property-related litigation desirable
