Job description

LIBRARIAN VOLUNTEER

One to two mornings a week between Monday and Friday, 09:00am – 12:00pm. The position is available for an immediate start.

Little Lever School was one of the most improved schools in the country and its outcomes remain in the top 100 schools nationally for similar schools. The school was graded Good by OfSTED in March 2022 and has continued to move forward at pace. As a Teach First partner school, we support schools across the North West in a range of areas. Responsibilities

• Issue and return or renew library stock
• Empty book return trolley for discharge and shelve stock
• Ensure that stock is tidy and well presented/displayed
• Assist with displays and calendar events throughout the year
• Support the charity’s fundraising activities
• Support the Librarian in the daily running and general housekeeping and maintenance
• Assist with recovery of late books and stock control
