Job Overview

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an LGVC+E driver to work for our client based in the Atherstone area of Warwickshire. This varied role involves the collection of industrial equipment on a low loader where you will self‑load across a general 50‑mile radius, with occasional distance work and the very occasional night out. The working week will be Monday to Friday, averaging a 45–55 hour week. The position is ongoing, with a chance to transition to a permanent role after a successful 12‑week probation period.

Hours of Work

• Start time will be AM between 05:00–07:00 hrs.
• Generally greater midlands collection and delivery, but some distance work may be involved.
• 45–55 hour working week.

Pay Rates

• £18.00 per hour (PAYE) Monday to Friday.
• Minimum 8 hours paid.

Requirements

• LGV C+E Driver licence held for AT LEAST 2 years.
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph.
• 2 years experience.
• Experience operating a low loader trailer.
• Previous experience operating an FLT Counterbalance, though a valid licence is not essential.
