Job summary

Spicerhaart in Ealing is seeking a Lettings Negotiator to join a driven, ambitious team where hard work and results are recognised and rewarded.

You will benefit from a basic salary of £16,000–£18,000, an uncapped commission scheme, and targeted training leading to a recognised qualification, plus progression opportunities and an Employee Assistance Programme.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a team.
• Capable of working on own initiative and managing multiple viewings.
• Good telephone manner and IT basics (MS Office).
• Understanding of current Residential Lettings legislation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with prospective tenants and arrange viewings to match needs.
• Negotiate offers and agree new tenancies.
• Maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
• Market properties to tenants using various marketing skills.
• Generate new and repeat business; canvass local area; door knock.
• Ensure properties meet health and safety standards.

• Complete on-target earnings exceeding £32000 per year
• Basic Salary of £16,000 to £18,000 (Dependent on experience)

A day in the life of a Lettings Negotiator

• Liaising with prospective tenants and arranging property viewings in line with their needs
• Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Landlords and Tenants
• Marketing properties to tenants utilizing various marketing skills
• A focus on generating new and repeat business
• Canvassing the local area
• Door knocking and leaflet dropping
• Ensuring properties adhere to health and safety standards

Essential Skills Of a Lettings Negotiator

• Full UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle
• Works well with others to create a team spirit and an enjoyable working environment.
• A reputation for delivering outstanding customer service
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Good telephone manner
• Strong IT skills (Basic Microsoft Packages)
• Attention to detail
• Ideally, an understanding of current legislation related to Residential Lettings

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Must have access to your own vehicle
• Before starting with us, you will need to provide proof of business insurance for your vehicle.

• We’ll need evidence of your right to work in the UK, in the form of: Passport/Birth Certificate
