Job summary

Haybrook Estate Agents in Sheffield is seeking a Lettings Negotiator to join our successful team. The role offers a basic salary of £16,000 to £18,000 (dependent on experience) with an uncapped commission scheme and an overall on-target earnings exceeding £32,000 per year.

You will receive industry-leading training and clear opportunities for career progression. Ideal candidates are customer-focused and motivated to deliver outstanding results.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence (manual).
  • Team player with a positive working environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Good telephone manner and IT skills.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with prospective tenants and arrange property viewings.
  • Negotiate offers and agree new tenancies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with landlords and tenants.
  • Market properties to tenants using various marketing skills.
  • Generate new and repeat business.
  • Canvass the local area; door-knocking and leaflet dropping.
  • Ensure properties adhere to health and safety standards.

A day in the life of a Lettings Negotiator
  • Liaising with prospective tenants and arranging property viewings in line with their needs
  • Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies

Essential Skills Of a Lettings Negotiator

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Must have access to your own vehicle
  • Before starting with us, you will need to provide proof of business insurance for your vehicle.
  • Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (in accordance with the Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006)
  • We’ll need evidence of your right to work in the UK, in the form of: Passport/Birth Certificate
