Job description

Our Leisure Club Managers oversee and manage operations of the club whilst coach, support and engage the team and support the creation of a positive work culture that is focused on excellence. The role reports directly to the Hotel Manager and is part of a team based from our attractive hotel in You Fit Holiday Inn Colchester Leisure Club Manager responsibilities include:

  • Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are being met
  • Deliver & manage the company approved fitness programmes with a view of promoting member behaviour change and maximising Personal Training.
  • Review financial performance on a daily, weekly, monthly basis and take necessary action as required.
  • Finding innovative ways to drive New Member Sales and Membership Headcount.
  • Pro-active approach to pool plant maintenance and operational best practice to maximise hygiene in both pool and spas in accordance with company SOPs.

Qualifications and Experience

This role is perfect for someone who is looking to demonstrate their skills and develop their career - ideally someone who already has supervisory or managerial experience in the leisure/fitness/spa wellness industry. The ideal candidate would have one or more of the following qualifications:

  • Pool Water Safety Qualification of Pool Responder
  • First Aid at Work Qualification
  • CIMSPA fitness professional qualification of Level 2 or above
  • Pool Plant Operators Qualification at Level 3
  • Health & Fitness / Leisure Industry Qualification of Level 3 or above
