Profile

Our client is a leading name within the water hygiene / treatment / legionella industry and work hard to deliver high quality legionella services to a wide range of clients within the Southeast. Due to an increase within contracts, they are looking to recruit a hardworking and experienced legionella risk assessor based in the Slough area. The Ideal candidate will hold the City and Guilds Legionella risk assessing qualification and will have extensive experience carrying out legionella risk assessments on hot and cold-water systems on a variety of contracts.

Experience & Qualifications

• The ideal candidate must hold the City and Guilds or WMS Legionella Risk Assessing qualification.
• Must have strong working knowledge of the legionella/water treatment/water hygiene industry, and knowledge of relevant H&S legislations.
• Will ideally hold extensive experience of undertaking Legionella risk assessments on hot and cold-water services, industrial systems, in line with ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be proficient in using Microsoft office.

The Role

• Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments om a mixed portfolio of sites in line with ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Providing clients with recommendations, prices, quotations and plans for routine control measures and remedial works and undertaking risk assessments.
• Undertaking monthly temperature testing, Monitoring, Water sampling and surveying of water systems and supplies.
• Providing schematic drawings, final documents, and reports for clients.
• Attending meetings with clients when and as requires.
• Maintaining and building professional relationships with clients.
