Accuflex is working with a fintech scale-up seeking a regulatory lawyer withconsumer credit experienceto support its dynamic product, marketing, and business development teams. This is an exciting opportunity to play a hands-on role in shaping consumer finance products and navigating a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Act as the legal representative for Engineering teams, enabling the development of innovative personal finance tools.
  • Advise on partner onboarding, product integrations, and commercial implementation.
  • Support brand, creative, and marketing teams by reviewing financial promotions, advertising, and other materials across multiple platforms.
  • Work cross-functionally to manage and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
  • Interpret and advise on evolving consumer credit and financial services regulation.
  • Deliver clear, accessible internal training on key regulatory issues.
  • Provide pragmatic, solutions-focused legal guidance to support commercial goals.
  • Make well-reasoned, risk-based decisions in a high-growth, agile environment.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent) with consumer credit or broader financial services regulatory experience.
  • Experience advising product, marketing, or tech teams preferred.
  • Able to communicate complex legal matters in plain English and with commercial nuance.
  • Comfortable working in cross-border, collaborative environments.
