The Role
- Report directly to the Head of Legal.
- Broad remit including:
- Commercial contracts (licensing, operational agreements, NDAs, farm-in/farm-out)
- Business development support
- Dispute resolution and financing matters
- Employment issues
- Company secretarial support and governance
- Provide strategic advice to senior management and collaborate with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
- Advise on compliance and manage legal risks across regional and country-specific operations.
Requirements
- 3-6 years' PQE, ideally with in-house experience.
- Energy sector background preferred.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Commercially astute, adaptable, and confident working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
