Join Our Clients Residential Property Team as a Legal Assistant!
Location: Emswoth in Portsmouth| Department: Conveyancing | Type: Full-time

Are you ready to join a legal team in a vibrant and fast-paced environment? We're on the lookout for a proactive, organised, and enthusiastic Legal Assistant to become an essential part of our client's dynamic Conveyancing team. This is a temporary opportunity working fully in office, 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9-5. This assignment may also lead to a permanent position subject to performance.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be the go-to support for our head of Conveyancing, keeping transactions moving smoothly and ensuring our clients receive top-notch service. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Opening new client files and preparing initial documentation
  • Creating and sending out quotes - and following up to win new business!
  • Reviewing documents and updating clients
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and agents
  • Supporting our lawyers with admin, correspondence, and case progress
  • Handling post, queries, and keeping everything on track
