A college in Essex is seeking a part-time Lecturer in Travel and Tourism to join their expanding Department of Service Industries. The successful applicant must have industry experience and qualifications, including Level 2 & 3 in crew/aviation. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality teaching, supporting students, and developing teaching materials. This role is based in Thurrock and requires 22.5 hours of work per week, offering attractive perks such as 40 days of annual leave and an enhanced teachers pension.
Lecturer, Part Time, Travel and Tourism. Thurrock Campus. We are seeking a proactive and motivated individual to join the Department of Service Industries which has an expanding Travel and Aviation Curriculum area. The successful applicant will have industry experience and will teach across a range of awarding bodies. Candidate will need to hold a Level 2 & 3 in crew/aviation. They will also have had a minimum of 3 years industry experience. Qualified teacher with past experience of teaching in FE. Excellent communication skills and ability to use tracking systems. Must have experience in travel and tourism industry. The Lecturer will be responsible for supporting positive behaviour and attendance of cohort working with other members of the team and NOK. The post holder will ensure the needs of our learners come first and that every learner will be provided with opportunities to achieve their full potential within a safe, stimulating and supportive environment. You will be required to deliver high quality teaching and learning and you are expected to develop appropriate teaching techniques and materials which enable all learners to achieve their full potential and take account of educational initiatives.
Campus base: Thurrock. 3 days a week, 22.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
