A specialist further education construction college in the UK is seeking a Lecturer in Roofing to engage and inspire students through workshops and classroom learning. The ideal candidate should possess an NVQ Level 3 in Roofing and relevant industry experience. Previous teaching experience is desirable, but effective communication and knowledge of health & safety standards are essential. This role offers a salary between £40,454 - £42,828 per annum, with benefits including generous leave and pension contributions.

Our College is the UK’s only specialist further education construction college, and we have an excellent reputation for providing quality education in Construction and the Built Environment. We are looking for a qualified trade professional willing to share their knowledge and skills with young people and adults.
This is a teaching role which involves workshops and classroom learning; your priority will be to engage and inspire our students to achieve their full potential.
You should have relevant and recent industry experience, an NVQ Level 3 in Roofing and the ability to demonstrate skills and understand the needs of learners in a training environment.
Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential. The ability to communicate effectively is essential together with excellent knowledge of health & safety issues.
