Location: Newcastle under Lyme Site
Full Time Positions Available
Salary: £29,067 - £42,848 depending on experience and qualifications

We are looking for an enthusiastic, suitably qualified individual with relevant experience to teach on our exciting new Esports course in our purpose‑built Esports hub, equipped with state‑of‑the‑art gaming resources.

Responsibilities
  • You will support the ‘NSCG Dragons’ team in the British Esports Association events and Championships; managing events and building teams is key.
  • You will teach across a range of units from nutrition, health and wellbeing to Esports Events, shout‑casting and video production.
  • Deliver high‑quality teaching on Esports across the full range of the department’s provision, including remote teaching, learning and assessment via appropriate platforms.
  • Play an active role in the marketing of the College and the Department through such activities as open days and liaison with local employers and schools.
  • Engage in core duties including preparation, marking, monitoring student progress, preparing reports, setting and marking examination papers, and developing flexible learning materials.
Qualifications
  • Holds a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
  • Has an appropriate teaching qualification; support will be given if required.
  • Ideally has relevant teaching experience at Esports Level 3 Extended Diploma within the FE sector.
  • Is an effective communicator with good organisational skills.
