Qualifications

Job description

Lecturer in Electrical Installation (EL710) Salary: £28,997 – £43,748 (per annum)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37 hrs per week
Location: Ellesmere Port Campus

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and teach a range of Electrical Installation courses, including T Level BSE (Building Services Engineering) or equivalent.
  • Contribute to aspirational teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Keep accurate records for learners' progress in College.
Key Person Specification Requirements
  • Level 3 or above (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation/Electrical Engineering and/or a minimum of 5 years industry experience with a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation.
  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths.
  • PGCE or commitment to work towards one.
  • Proven experience of electronic and electrical systems including industrial, power and electronics, fault‑finding procedures and control systems.
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment.
  • Up‑to‑date occupational experience.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
