Job Description

Key responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver teaching across predominantly Level 1-3 programmes, including level 4/5 where appropriate, ensuring a high-quality and relevant learning experience for students.
  • Contribute to the marketing, development, delivery, assessment and evaluation of programmes to meet market needs and contractual targets and performance criteria.
  • Deliver engaging lectures, facilitate exam preparation and provide support and guidance to students throughout their time at Kirklees College.
  • Manage and monitor the delivery of your programme, support and encourage student achievement.
  • Monitor data, offer guidance to learners, promote retention and progression, maintain accurate student records, teach and assess across various courses and ensure academic standards are met.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support student outcomes.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
