Location: Harrow Weald Campus
Our Creative Arts section provides our learners with the skills and knowledge with which to progress onto a relevant degree at HE level or directly into a rewarding career within the media, television, film, and creative industries. We work closely with UAL, our awarding body, to ensure our courses are both subject and industry relevant.
Responsibilities
- Deliver across a range of Art and Design programmes from Level 1 to Level 3.
- Assist in developing industry links for live briefs and student work experience.
- Possess a degree in Art or related subject with excellent subject knowledge and teaching experience in art and design up to Level 3.
- Engage and inspire learners and deliver teaching at the appropriate level to learners across Level 1 to Level 3.
- If you do not currently possess a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the Further Education sector, you will be supported to obtain this by the College.
Qualifications
- Degree in Art or related subject with excellent subject knowledge.
- Teaching experience in art and design up to Level 3.
- Current or recent experience as a practitioner in Art and Design.
- Ability to engage and inspire learners and deliver teaching across Level 1 to Level 3.
- Support to obtain Level 5 teaching qualification if not currently held.

- Salary: £32,455 to £45,260 per annum including London Weighting. Teacher training provided.
