Job description

We are looking to take on a number of Experienced Lecturers to begin work from September! The successful Experienced Lecturer within Cardiff will have the opportunity to work with 14 aged pupils in Further Education settings across Cardiff, where staff are committed to providing the very best education and opportunities for all learners. The setting is dedicated to creating a dynamic and inclusive community, whilst also promoting unique and relevant skills to prepare students for the next steps in their careers and development.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Experienced Lecturer, who is ready to motivate and to maintain high-standards of learning. As a Experienced Lecturer you will support learners with basic skills, study skills, well-being and pastoral issues. A subject specialism is required within this role.

Our successful Learning Coach will have:

• QTS or PCET is required - essential requirement for the role
• Level 3 or Coaching qualification relating to Education (not essential)
• Experience working in a learning support capacity (skills, pastoral, and well-being - not essential)
• Strong classroom and behavioural management skills/experience with challenging behaviours
• Clear commitment to learner support and well-being with an inclusive, learner-centred focus
• Confidence and ability to communicate clearly and effectively to different groups of people e.g. young people, parents, external organisations, academic staff.
