A local government council in Hounslow is seeking an experienced Leasehold Finance Officer to manage service charge calculations and provide accountancy support. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Leasehold Services Team as a Leasehold Finance Officer. Your primary focus will be the calculation of the annual service charges ensuring that the Council is able to fully recover the costs of the services provided to our leaseholders. You will work collaboratively with teams across the organisation to improve the quality and accuracy of the information as well as responding to queries and challenges from leaseholders.
The Leasehold Team is the Council’s expert in all leasehold matters. Working collaboratively with teams across the organisation, we are focussed on the needs of our leaseholders, freeholders and shared owners. The Team currently consults with leaseholders on major works, manages lease extensions, pre-assignments, enfranchisement and alteration requests and advises our Housing Colleagues on how to manage breaches of lease. Our leasehold service is evolving, bringing Service Charge calculations into the team and we are committed to delivering a high-quality service to our customers.
