A leading education provider in Peterborough is seeking a caring Learning Support Worker to assist students with diverse learning needs at Peterborough and Stamford College. Responsibilities include providing one-to-one support, encouraging independence, and supporting literacy and numeracy development. Ideal candidates should have Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualifications, possess compassion, and be willing to engage in ongoing professional training. Location: Peterborough and Stamford College
Salary: £24,080 per annum (Point 14) - pro rata
Hours: 16-35 hours per week, 34 weeks per year (term‑time only)
Contract: Permanent

Make a difference every day – Are you passionate about helping young people reach their full potential? We’re looking for a caring and motivated Learning Support Worker to join our friendly Additional Learning Support (ALS) team at Peterborough and Stamford College.
This is a rewarding role where you’ll support students with a range of learning needs to engage fully in college life, build their confidence, and achieve their goals.
Experience working with learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities would be an advantage, but is not essential – we’ll provide training and ongoing professional development.
You should hold Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy (GCSEs Grade C/4 or equivalent) and ideally a Level 2 qualification in Learning Support (or be willing to work towards it).
