A well-regarded educational institution in the United Kingdom is seeking to recruit Learning Support Assistants to provide high-quality support to learners with identified learning difficulties and disabilities. The role involves assisting learners across various courses, including providing in-class support and online assistance. Candidates must have at least 12 months of experience and a Level 2 qualification in Maths and English. Benefits include on-site parking and access to healthcare schemes. The Learning Support team are seeking to recruit Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), to join them in providing a range of high-quality support to learners with identified learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
You will support learners across a range of courses from Entry level to Level 3 / A Level who have learning difficulties and disabilities. These include Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD, Hearing Impairments, Visual Impairments and Physical Impairments. The successful candidates will provide in-class support and online support to individuals and groups of learners, which includes notetaking, assisting with personal care and mobility support.
You should have at least 12 months of experience of working with young people and have a sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures. You must possess at least a Level 2 qualification, GCSE grade 4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to undertake further training where identified.
This is a term time only role working Monday - Friday 9:00 - 17:00 across 33 weeks throughout the year. We can also consider this role on a part time basis, work patterns will be discussed at interview.
