A local primary education provider is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support teaching and learning across Pre-School to Year 6. Measham C of E Primary School, part of Rise Multi Academy Trust, Measham, Leicestershire.

Contract Details

Fixed‑term contract until 19 August 2026; 17.5 hours per week (8:30 am – 12:00 pm, Monday‑Friday, Term Time only). Pay Grade 5: £25,191.00–£25,590.00 per annum (pro‑rata £10,197.00–£10,591.00). Start as soon as possible; expiry 19 January 2026 11:59 pm.

Responsibilities
  • Support teaching and learning in classrooms and with small groups or individual pupils.
  • Assist with children’s social and emotional needs.
  • Deliver individualized programmes to develop emotional literacy.
  • Work across Pre‑School to Year 6.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • GCSE Grade C / 4 in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Teaching Assistant Qualification desirable.
  • Empathy with young people and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow direction well and use initiative to support learning.
  • Clean enhanced DBS disclosure required (safeguarding statement).
