Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Provide 1:1 support to students with SEN in the classroom, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs.

  • Collaborate with teachers to implement effective Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that are tailored to each student.

  • Assist in behaviour management, helping students navigate challenges using positive reinforcement techniques.

  • Create a positive, nurturing environment that encourages student engagement and supports their emotional and social development.

  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to keep everyone informed of each child’s progress.

  • Foster a sense of inclusion, ensuring every child feels welcomed and supported within the classroom setting.

  • Right to work in the UK and a valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (previous experience preferred, but not essential).

  • An understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet students' needs.

  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children with SEN.

  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
