Job summary

MCS Group in Belfast is seeking a Learning & Development Officer to help manage training compliance, LMS administration and development of online and professional learning programmes. You will be part of a busy team supporting a large workforce.

The ideal candidate will hold a CIPD L&D qualification and have experience in L&D, with strong IT and stakeholder engagement skills. This is a full-time, permanent role with clear opportunities for progression and development.

Qualifications

• CIPD L&D or relevant qualification.
• Experience in a Learning & Development focused role.
• Experience within training, education or a similar environment.
• Experience using an online learning platform/ Learning Management System.
• Experience developing e-learning content.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders.
• A proactive, flexible and problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining the virtual learning environment & LMS.
• Creating and updating e-learning courses and modules.
• Troubleshooting issues with the learning platform.
• Monitoring training compliance and producing reports.
• Coordinating mandatory training schedules.
• Supporting the design and implementation of professional development programmes.
• Liaising with managers, internal teams and external training providers.
• Coordinating face-to-face and online training.
• Supporting compliance reporting and training administration.
• Building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
