The practice is spacious and modern, featuring five consulting rooms, separate dog and cat wards, and fully equipped operating theatres. They offer the latest in veterinary technology, including ECG, in‑house laboratory, digital X‑ray, ultrasound, and a full dental suite, and also serve as a training practice for both nurses and graduate vets, offering a dynamic and educational environment.

Role Details

This is a permanent, full‑time position of 40 hours per week, worked over four days with one in four weekends. They are happy to consider part‑time applicants and are open to flexible working arrangements. They are looking for a strong lead vet ideally with some orthopedic experience.

Benefits

From day one you’ll benefit from private medical insurance and a health cash plan that includes dental, optical, and physio cover, as well as access to a 24/7 private GP service. Life assurance is included at three times your salary. They also offer access to mental health support and counselling whenever you need it. You’ll receive five weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to six weeks with length of service, and an additional paid ‘Day for You’ to use however you choose. Support for your clinical development with a £1,500 CPD allowance, three days’ paid CPD leave, and access to internal CPD through Clinical Communities. Funded certificate opportunities are also available. RCVS, VDS, and BVA fees are fully covered. Other benefits include a quarterly bonus, with the potential to earn up to 20% of your base salary, sabbatical leave based on length of service, an interest‑free season ticket loan, Cycle to Work scheme, staff discounts, and full support with visa sponsorship and relocation if needed.
