Job summary

Dorado Lounge, part of Loungers, is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. This role is based in Warrington, England, within a growing hospitality brand with opportunities to grow and develop our kitchen leadership talent.

You’ll lead kitchen shifts, support the Head Chef, uphold high standards on the pass, and drive consistency in food quality and service. A 48-hour contract is offered with a 40-hour option, plus a structured progression path and staff perks.

Qualifications

• Sous Chef level experience or senior chef ready to step up.
• Ability to lead kitchen shifts and maintain high standards.
• Strong teamwork and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence from prep through to final plate.
• Support the Head Chef and act as right hand in their absence.
• Set tone for high standards on the pass including quality, pace, cleanliness and safety.
• Own key kitchen routines: prep, stock control, waste, orders and handovers.
• Coach and develop junior chefs to deliver great food each shift.
