Job summary

Loungers is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to join the Durano Lounge kitchen. You’ll support the Head Chef, lead the team through every service and ensure every dish leaving the pass is something to be proud of.

We’re a growing hospitality brand across England and Wales with over 300 sites. The role offers a competitive base salary with bonus, overtime pay, and real progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
• Ability to lead by example and set high standards on the pass.
• Reliable, punctual and fully committed during shifts.
• Strong focus on fresh ingredients and consistent plate quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts, keeping service smooth from prep through to final plate.
• Support Head Chef and step up in their absence.
• Maintain high standards on the pass, with emphasis on cleanliness and safety.
• Own routines: prep, par, stock control, waste, orders, and handovers.
• Coach and develop the team to deliver great food each shift.
