Waldo Lounge, part of Loungers, is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. You’ll lead shifts, support the Head Chef, and ensure every dish leaving the pass meets our high standards.

This role offers real progression opportunities within a growing hospitality brand across England and Wales. We offer a competitive base salary with bonus, overtime, and a structured development pathway including in-house training and the potential to move into GM/HC roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced kitchen environments.
• Ability to lead shifts and manage a busy service.
• Commitment to high cooking standards and accuracy.
• Proven track record of developing junior chefs.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence from prep to final plate.
• Support Head Chef and step in during absence.
• Maintain high standards on the pass for speed, hygiene and safety.
• Own key routines: prep, stock control, waste, orders and handovers.
• Coach and develop the team to deliver great food every shift.
