Job summary

Loungers’ Como Lounge in Witney is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to lead shifts, support the Head Chef and ensure every dish meets high standards. You’ll be part of a growing hospitality brand across England and Wales, with a competitive salary, bonus, overtime and real progression opportunities.

We offer 48-hour contracts (40-hour option), free meals on every shift, staff discount from day one, and ongoing training programmes to step up to GM/GC.

Qualifications

• Sous Chef experience or junior sous chef ready to step up.
• Commitment to high standards, teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts, ensuring smooth service from prep to final plate.
• Support Head Chef and act as right hand in their absence.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and safety.
• Oversee stock, waste and shift handovers; coach junior staff.
