Job summary

Loungers’ Fino Lounge in Wales is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You’ll support the Head Chef, lead the team through each service and ensure every dish that leaves the pass is something to be proud of.

This role offers a 48-hour contract (40-hour option available), a competitive base salary plus bonus and overtime, paid overtime, and opportunities for progression through our in-house training programmes.

Qualifications

• Passionate cook with pride in fresh ingredients and consistent plating.
• Reliable, punctual and fully committed to delivering high standards.
• Experience as Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or Chef de Partie.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts and maintain service smooth from prep to final plate.
• Support Head Chef and step in during absence.
• Maintain high standards on the pass: food quality, pace, hygiene.
• Own key routines: prep/par, stock, waste, orders, handovers.
• Coach and develop the team to boost confidence and skills.
