Job summary

Nautico Lounge, a Loungers plc venue in Weymouth, is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead the kitchen team and support the Head Chef in delivering great, fresh dishes across every service.

This full-time role offers a 48-hour contract (40 hours option), competitive base salary with bonus and overtime, staff meals, generous discounts from day one, and clear progression paths to more senior roles. You will set high standards on the pass, coach the team, and ensure food safety and consistency.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie
• Proven leadership and team coaching
• Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence from prep to final plate
• Support Head Chef and cover in their absence
• Maintain high standards on the pass and ensure consistency
• Oversee prep, stock, waste and handovers
• Coach chefs to develop skills and pride in their work
