Loungers is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at Ludo Lounge, a busy casual dining concept. You’ll support the Head Chef, lead shifts, and ensure every dish leaving the pass meets our high standards.

Ideal candidates have sous/chef de partie experience, with a passion for fresh ingredients, team leadership, and a commitment to great service. The role offers a 48-hour contract with overtime, plus a rewarding progression path.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or Chef de Partie
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Commitment to high standards of food quality and hygiene

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence from prep to pass
• Support Head Chef and cover during absence
• Maintain high standards of food quality, pace, cleanliness and safety
• Manage prep, par, stock, waste and handovers
• Coach and develop junior chefs and team
