Job summary

Loungers is hiring a full-time Sous Chef for Malto Lounge, a local café bar. You’ll support the Head Chef, lead shifts, and ensure every dish leaving the pass is of high standard.

This is a great next step for an experienced sous chef, junior sous chef, or chef de partie ready to progress. Qualifications

• Minimum experience as Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef.
• Ability to lead kitchen operations and maintain high standards.
• Experience supporting Head Chef and managing the pass.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts from prep through to final plate.
• Support Head Chef and step up in their absence.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, pace, cleanliness and safety.
• Manage prep, par, stock, waste, and handovers.
• Coach and develop team to deliver great food each shift.
