Job description

We are disrupting one of the world's largest asset classes, property. With £2Bn+ assets on our platform and 30,000+ users across 70 countries, we're building the future of asset ownership and in doing so, are able to address wealth inequality.

Our product simplifies property investing from start to finish, making real estate investment accessible to everyone.

What you'll love doing

As a Lead Engineer you will help shape and define the roadmap of co‑intelligent teams, enabling those around you to achieve impact in their roles through thought leadership and a delivery mindset. Working in cross‑functional product teams, taking ideas from concept to deployment. Navigating ambiguity in a fast‑moving environment where ownership and freedom are core to how we operate. Building user‑facing AI‑native products across the full stack. Working fluidly between React / TypeScript frontend and Golang backend, using AI tools as your co‑pilot throughout development. Collaborating closely with product and design to ship high‑quality features fast. Writing clear, maintainable code for humans and AI models alike. Helping to define engineering practices for an AI‑first development culture. Mentoring other engineers as we scale our team and impact. Able to talk in depth about your ability to drive change, impact and excellence in those around you as well as your experience as a mentor and coach. A product mindset, with a commercial focus to help build world class tech products. Ideally you will have experience as a fullstack engineer on consumer‑facing products. It's critical you should be comfortable moving between frontend and backend regardless of your experience. You must be curious and have an experimentation mindset and excited to use AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, code generation). A collaborative mindset with experience sharing your knowledge with other engineers. We value technical rigour, clear communication, and questioning the status quo.

This role isn't for you if
  • You want fully remote work. We're hybrid with 4 days in-office and believe passionately about the advantages of in‑office collaboration and innovation.
  • You want to be handed technical requirements, rather than ambiguous problems to solve.
  • You prefer staying in your lane. We believe in fullstack engineers embracing AI‑augmented workflows contributing to product roadmap.
  • You're looking for a slow‑paced corporate environment. We move fast, own outcomes, and live by our values: no BS, pursuit of excellence, feedback obsession, and healthy ego.

We encourage applications from all sections of society and we believe in the criticality of an inclusive culture. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, religion or belief, ethnic or national origin, disability, age, citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other basis as protected by law.

42% of our employees identify as female or non‑specified, 58% as male. 22 nationalities represented across offices in 5 countries. Our work on Design Accessibility. Inclusion is at the heart of our culture - we celebrate and reflect on key D&I and cultural events such as: Black History Month, International Women's Day and Pride.

Competitive salary, stock options, private health & dental, 12 mental health days annually, community volunteer day, free breakfast, learning & development support, and visa sponsorship.
