Lead Producer, 12 Month FTC

Description

Reporting to the Head of Production, this role covers daily eCommerce studio shoots, elevated eCommerce, and brand campaign shoots. You will be comfortable managing multiple timelines — while one shoot is in post-production, you will already be preparing for the next in pre‑production. With a calm and confident approach, you will set clear expectations for both internal and external teams, while also managing our talented team of full‑time photographers. With your extensive network of industry contacts, you excel at identifying the right talent for every project. At this level, you will also be thinking strategically about the brand’s continued evolution, proactively suggesting new creative talent that aligns with our vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and build budgets that accurately reflect the creative approach and align with the Production department’s overall spend.
• Have the skills and experience to plan and communicate a clear, detailed shoot calendar for the year.
• Understand the full content creation process — from briefing and creative ideation through to shoot, post‑production, and delivery.
• Champion the RI customer and ensure every shoot reflects our brand values and creative standards.
• Understand the correct processes for location shoots, including timelines for permits, and confidently plan and manage the logistics of large‑scale campaign shoots, including onboard and remote production.
• Manage and mentor Producers and Junior Producers, fostering a collaborative and empowering team dynamic.
• Oversee the smooth running of shoot days, leading everything from morning briefings to end‑of‑day wrap.
• Act as an active problem solver and a calming influence across shoots and within the studio team.
• Manage the photography team — confidently introducing new creative directions and supporting them in delivering best‑in‑class assets.
• Maintain and expand your network of creatives and talent, continually identifying new collaborators to bring fresh perspectives to our shoots.
• Demonstrate excellent negotiation skills, consistently booking strong crews and assembling high‑performing teams for each production.
• Have production experience in video, stills, and social content.
• Help shape best practices for the Production team and uphold efficient ways of working.
