We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our existing nursing team. You will ideally have experience of working in a GP primary care setting . Familiarity with EMIS is ideal but applicants with experience in other IT applications will be considered.
The candidate will be expected to cover core nursing duties including, smear tests, child and travel immunisations, wound care, assist in minor surgery clinics, governance tasks and recall processes. Preferable also is to have experience in undertaking diabetes checks, Asthma annual reviews, COPD monitoring, Smoking Cessation and Family Planning advice experience.
You will need good computer skills. You will be able to organise your own workload and will need to be flexible, as the role involves some administrative work, and you must be able to record information accurately.
