Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking a Principal Physicist for their new MR-Linac service. You will oversee the adaptive treatment planning process and lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver cutting-edge radiotherapy. Ideal candidates will have advanced knowledge of radiotherapy physics, experience with MR Linac technology, and be HCPC registered. Qualifications

  • Ability to act as a Medical Physics Expert for Radiotherapy as defined in IR(ME)R 2017.
  • Experience of MR Linac technology.
  • Advanced theoretical & practical knowledge of ionising radiation and radiotherapy physics.

Responsibilities

  • Management of all technical aspects of medical physics and planning activities related to the MR Linac.
  • Responsible for core planning activities within the MRL team.
  • Providing effective clinical leadership for staff working in the MRL service.

Skills

Ability to act as a Medical Physics Expert for Radiotherapy
Advanced theoretical & practical knowledge of ionising radiation
Advanced knowledge of stereotactic planning
Experience with MR Linac technology

Education

Masters degree in relevant scientific, technical, or healthcare related discipline
HCPC registration
