Site Engineer

Commercial Building Maintenance | Southwark, London

Salary: £50,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8 am to 5 pm

GH Engage is partnered with a leading commercial maintenance provider who are seeking a Site Engineer to be based in Southwark, London.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrable history in commercial building maintenance and facilities, as well as relevant Electrical Engineering qualifications.

Duties as Site Engineer

• Deliver maintenance to the landlord areas of two high‑end residential towers.
• Single‑person site with an engineer on the adjacent site and an apprentice assistant.
• Manage sub‑contractors; raise quotations and purchase orders.
• Communicate effectively with the client, answering queries and complaints.
• Maintain computer literacy and provide timely communication.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering roles (electrical/mechanical).
• Experience ensuring compliance and familiarity with industry standards for health & safety and excellence.
• Supervisory or Lead Engineer experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Engineering qualifications – Electrical Level 3 or equivalent.

• Salary up to £50,000
• Call‑out: 1 in 2 (£100 week = £2,600 year)
• Monday to Friday; 8 am to 5 pm.
